How to use Multi Select
This tutorial shows you how to enable a "Multi Select" control in your application. Read through our step-by-step instructions which are accompanied with sample screens for a better understanding and experience.
Multi Select control can be enabled by going through the 3 step form wizard. Steps are defined below as:
1. Define Property
This is the 1st step of the Multi Select form wizard. Here you are required to fill in the following details:
(i) Attributes (mandatory) : This is the attributes of the form
(ii) Is Required? : This button is set as "ON" if you need to apply this control as mandatory
(iii) Error Message : Here you define the error message that will be shown if this control is not filled in
(iv) Minimum Selection : Here you define the minimum values that should be selected in this control
(v) Maximum Selection : Here you define the maximum values that should be selected in this control
2. Define View
Similar to other controls here you design how the control will look on the form. Here you need to define:
(i) Label Text
(iv) Enable Help Text : Once you enable help text, you can define your help message in the text box below and also align the direction of the help text to be displayed.
3. Define Data
In the last step of this wizard, you need to define data connections. You have an option to choose from HTTP, Logic Apps, Cosmos DB, or Azure Function.
In this instance we will explain how to import Data using Cosmos DB and HTTP. You might have gone through the same steps while making other forms as well.
